Other Benefits
NBAA Small Aircraft Exemption.
Through NBAA Membership, you as a light aircraft operator can take advantage of
the Small Aircraft Exemption, which NBAA has obtained on behalf of all of our Members,
free of charge. This exemption allows a light aircraft operator to do a number of
things that are available by regulation only to large aircraft operators. If you
operate an aircraft 12,500 pounds or less, this unique exemption provides Members
with a full range of economic and operational options extended to large aircraft
operators. This includes entering into a timesharing or joint ownership agreement,
or carrying business passengers or property and charging for the flight. Your Membership
in NBAA automatically secures this benefit for you, without the legal and attorney
fees, or lengthy amount of time to pursue your own exemption, that would otherwise
be required.
NBAA Member Directory.
NBAA Membership gives you access to our Member Directory – the most comprehensive
source of real–time business aviation resources in the industry. You can search
by category or region to help make your flight operation successful. The right vendors,
the right suppliers, the right partners are all listed here, whatever your specific
needs may be.
